CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982 EXEMPTION DIRECTIONS
Under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, exempt promoters must notify each relevant local authority of their intention to carry out a public charitable collection in their area but do not require permission from the local authority to do so.
