Help in setting up a charity
While OSCR can advise you on your application for charitable status and maintaining registration, we are unable to help you with setting up your charity.

Information and guidance about setting up a charity is available from the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) and your local Council for Voluntary Services (CVS). Organisations considering applying for charitable status may also wish to consult a professional adviser.  The Law Society of Scotland may be able to help you identify a legal firm with expertise in charity law.

Our contact us page holds details of how you can get in touch with us.
