OSCR holds a significant amount of information about the regulation of charities in Scotland. The resources on this page have been organised to help you find the information you need more easily.

How to find what you want

• Browse the high level categories on the left. This classifies information according to the classes set out in our Publication scheme . You can also drill down into the subcategories using the publications filter to the left of the page. This allows you to focus on particular areas of interest. Results will show you documents and web pages relevant to your search.
  
• Use a keyword search. Type in a search term into the search box at the bottom left of the page such as “trustee duties” and click ‘go’. This will then return resources on this site relevant to these search terms.

Publications Schedule

OSCR has produced a schedule of publications for 2007-08.

The schedule provides broad publication dates and the format of each document.

Annual Reports

OSCR is required to prepare and publish an Annual Report on the exercise of its functions during the year.

OSCR lays a copy of the report before the Scottish Parliament and sends a copy to Scottish Ministers.  OSCR's accounts are audited by the Auditor General for Scotland.

Publication Scheme

OSCR has produced its Publications Scheme as required under section 23 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

Under this Act we are required to specify the classes of information we intend to publish, how the information is published, and whether the information is available free of charge or on payment of a fee.

Corporate Plans

Our Corporate Plan 2007-10 sets out our strategic and business objectives for that period.  This section also includes earlier Corporate Plans.
